Background of Sharon Chekroun

Grew up in a southern neighborhood in Tel-Aviv,
Deserted by her father at the age of five,
Living with her alcoholic mother to the age of fifteen.

Jew,

With her mother from Egypt, and her father from Iraq.

Seems to be forced into finding her sacred/secret place at the comforting colors of her painting.

Developed her own artistry from sketches to acrylic painting on canvas,
and then fought to get a scholarship to find herself
in one of the finest art schools in Israel.
Discovered the magic of "Fresco" in 1995.
